SCW at the Teatro Orione in Rome with the show Kintsugi | CorriereNazionale

Selene Calloni Williams announces a new date for her show “Kintsugi, repair the wounds of the soul and make every moment of your life precious,” which landed at the Teatro Orione in Rome on December 1, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. after the sold-out Milan debut last May, which sold out within a few days of ticket sales opening.

The show, inspired by the author’s book of the same name, features Selene on stage in an unprecedented theatrical performance, guiding the audience through meditative practices and rituals to repair the wounds of the soul, overcoming anxieties, guilt, anger, dissatisfaction, and rediscovering freedom, enthusiasm, and joy of living.

Also on stage are actors Michelangelo Chini and Dasha Shumilova who, along with Selene and accompanied by the powerful sounds of taiko drums, will tell the moving story of the warrior Tomoè.

The show intertwines music, narration, and ritual practice with audience involvement. Kintsugi is the ancient Japanese practice of repairing broken objects with gold. It represents the opportunity to transform our physical and emotional wounds into an exceptional opportunity for growth and change.

Following the resounding success with a sold-out Milan debut at the Teatro Manzoni last May 7, the Roman date represents a new stage in an exciting journey towards self-realization and happiness.
